Thimbelina’s team of highly skilled seamstresses are capable of altering all kinds of outfits. We understand that dresses and suits can last for some time and during those years our clients’ body shape changes.
Thimbelina’s seamstresses have the knowledge to alter and create all garments however, their main expertise is within dressmaking, this means that they can make extensive and complicated changes to any garment, for example:
A lady bought two sale bridal gowns, she asked for them to be merged together to make one that fit her perfectly in the chosen style that she had designed with Sarah. She wanted to use the fabric from the dresses that had initially drawn her to them and inspired the whole idea.
We are not precious too, we want you to look the best no matter what, so if you find a dress in a shop that has potential. You may feel the neckline isn’t the shape you wanted. Maybe you would prefer it to have sleeves, a different skirt length, shape or even adding other materials on top/underneath. These are all alterations that the team at Thimbelina complete every day to a standard where you would never know that it wasn’t bought like that.
